- 4 egg whites
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Fresh fruits (such as strawberries, passion fruit, or pomegranate)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 120°C (250°F).
- Whip egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Gradually add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, while continuing to whip until the mixture is glossy.
- Gently fold in cornstarch and vinegar.
- Scoop the meringue onto a baking paper-lined tray, creating a slight indentation in the center.
- Bake for 1 to 1.5 hours until it is dry to the touch.
- Turn off the oven and let the Pavlova cool inside without opening the door.
- Whip the cream and prepare the fruits.
- Just before serving, top the Pavlova with cream and arrange the fruits on top.
Notes
For best results, ensure your mixing bowl is completely clean and dry. Let egg whites sit in the fridge overnight for a better whip.
